NEW YORK (CBS) ― Police are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl in Queens.

The child was found dead Saturday night in a home on 117 Street just north of the Belt Parkway in Ozone Park.

The NYPD found the mother with the child, who was unconscious and unresponsive.

Sources say she was seriously injured, and died less than an hour later at Jamaica Hospital.

No arrests have been made.
